Spawned in dark caves reeking of rot and filth, Hill Trolls prefer to hide from the sun and come out to terrorize the land in the cool of the night. When goaded into action by the Orcs and Goblins (often with the promise of fresh meat) Hill Trolls emerge to crash against their foes like a terrible storm. 

Rarely, Hill Trolls are spawned with unnatural intelligence, taking place as cruel captains and warlords, and directing those under their command with malice and cruelty.
